Labor Day trip to Maryland

We went to Maryland to spend some time with Joe's side of the family for Labor Day weekend. Joe's mom had a Hawaii-themed birthday party for the kids. Lucas decorated the deck to look like a beach scene complete with waterfall and volcano and we all wore Hawaiian costumes. Audrey really got into it!

After lunch Audrey and Jack opened their gifts. Audrey loves this shirt from Aunt Jena! It has a strawberry on it to remind her of the time we all went strawberry picking in Whidbey. Great memories!

Jack likes his Navy shirts from Grandma, but he especially likes the wrapping paper.

Jumping for joy!

Happy birthday Dear Jackson!

Happy birthday Dear Audrey!

Such a little gentleman, using a spoon to eat his cake:)

He loved Cindy's Curious George doll and kept giving him hugs.

My favorite guys.

They stuck a 3 on Audrey's cake to make it a 36 and sang Happy Birthday to me:)

Later in the day we had more cake (why not?) so we sang Happy Birthday and lit the candles again.

Happy Birthday again, Jack!

Pinata time! Check out that girl's swing!

Candy flying everywhere!

This is what happens when the baseball player takes a turn at the pinata. The fish's tail was on the other side of the backyard.

Audrey, Jackson, and Katelyn. These are some gorgeous kids!

Sunday brunch with the extended family. It was great to see everyone!

We went to the Navy v. Maryland football game! GO NAVY!
