Spring Fun Times!

My friend, Amy, told me about a horse and pony farm nearby where the kids can go for pony rides. We tried it out and Audrey loved it! Her pony's name was Amy, just like our friend:)

Kinzey, Amy, Audrey and April. Jack's sleeping on my back.
The trail was very muddy!

After the trail ride we got to feed carrots to the ponies.

Silly girls having a blast at the horse & pony farm

We liked it so much, we went back the next week with more friends! Audrey got to ride Amy again.

Audrey, April, Jack, Evangelina, Kristi, Will, Marilee, and Luke. Oliver is on Marilee's back.

It looks like Audrey's pony is wearing orange lipstick from eating so many carrots!

Joe went to his cousin, Brian's, wedding at the Venetian in Las Vegas last month. He wore a yamaka because the Levy side of the family is Jewish. I think he looked very handsome!

Grandma Levy flew to Vegas from West Palm Beach for the wedding! She's 94! Amazing!

Joe and his cousin, Ali, looking lovely.

Joe was goofing off and temporarily traded hats with the lady serving Varsity hot dogs at the reception.

We got all dressed up and fancy for the Change of Command dinner at Semiahmoo Resort. It was a lot of fun!

Audrey wants to be a farmer when she grows up. She planted some marigolds on our deck.
Here she is eating a salad, which includes watercress that she grew herself!

Goofy kids

Audrey's friend, Kinzey, spent the night with us. They were so excited about the sleepover, they put their pj's on at 4:30 in the afternoon!

Enjoying a beautiful sunny day in the backyard!

Mother's Day 2010. I am incredibly blessed.

Audrey had pictures taken for a ballet recital that she'll be in next month called "The Odyssey". I'm not being biased at all when I say she was the most beautiful little dancer at the photo shoot:)

Impromptu Trip to Florida

Joe had to go to Jacksonville for a week in April for a work conference. At the last minute he realized the kids and I were able to go along with him on the Navy flight. We jumped at the chance to see family in Florida so we packed our bags and off we went!

Our first stop was to see my dad at the hospital in Gainesville. We had some good snuggle time with Grandmama Carolyn while we were there:)
Audrey wanted to say hi to the ducks in the pond before we left the hospital.
While Joe was at his conference the kids and I drove to see my grandparents in Ft. White. It was wonderful to see them! It was their first time meeting Jackson!

We didn't have much time in Florida and our family is spread all over the state so Joe's dad and grandma drove up to my mom's house to see us. This saved us several hours in the car and we were so happy to see them!
Audrey and Grandma Levy always have so much fun together!
This was Grandma Levy's first time meeting Jackson!
Rich's first time meeting Jack, too!

At dinner, Audrey tried to teach Grandma Levy how to whistle and snap.

Thank goodness for Grand and her sparkly jewelry. She kept Jack happy and quiet all during dinner.

Joe's grandma asked the waiter to bring out a dessert for Joe's birthday, which was the next day. Audrey helped Joe finish his ice cream sundae. Apparently, she liked it.

We ended up with extra time in Florida because the Navy plane that was supposed to take us home left a day early and didn't tell us they changed the schedule. We had to fly home on a commercial flight a few days later. There are worse things than being stuck in Florida. Here are pictures from our day at Sea World!

Here is Joe at the exact same spot at Sea World in April of 2005. Audrey was the exact same age that Jack is in the picture above.

Jack didn't mind hanging out in the stroller waiting for his sister to get off the rides. He's a very happy guy!

We ate at a Carrabba's, where Audrey practiced her new skill - cutting her food with a knife.
